Born in Pakistan and from South Africa, Natasha fell in love with every play she could get her hands on and the stage from a young age. After graduating from Bates College in Maine and completing her Masters, she followed an impulse to enroll in her first acting class at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles. This gained her a part in her first film and her journey began. Natasha continued to study acting at Act Cape Town with Tamryn Spiers and also with Bonnie Rodini before moving to the US, first to Los Angeles, and then Atlanta, where she spent 3 years at AMAW with Master class teacher Katelin Chesna. During this time, she was grateful to have opportunities in commercials, film and television, as well as a producer and writer. Pony, which she acted in and produced received nominations at the Berlin Sci-Fi and the Atlanta Sci-fi film festivals.
While at the studio, she not only saw changes in her acting but also in her life as a result of the AMAW community. She felt a calling to share what she had learnt with others and build the community and was encouraged by her coach to train to teach for AMAW. Thereafter she completed her training as a coach for AMAW in LA. She feels that there is a need for more teachers who teach from their heart space, and who coach actors from a place of empathy, in order to empower actors to know that they are enough, and that everything they need is already within them.
