Jim Rastall

Jim is passionate about helping actors find new levels of simplicity, freedom and joy in their work. All good, solid Yorkshire values! He trained at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School (2006-9), continues his development at AMAW (2015-present) and has had the good fortune to work across all media with several of his heroes, most notably Jodie Whittaker, Brenda Blethyn and Christopher Guest. He is a regular guest teacher at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School (Alumni include Daniel Day Lewis, Olivia Colman and Naomi Harris) and is Artistic Director of The Playground Theatre Company, who's first show Shakespearience played The Ambassador's Theatre (West End) and The Underbelly Southbank Festival. Jim is extremely proud and excited to be part of the AMAW London coaching team.
