Geri Courtney-Austein

Geri is an actor, voiceover artist, and director who has been an active member of the AMAW community since 2009. She feels grateful to be surrounded by authentic artists whose passion for each other and the craft create such a loving and vibrant space to play, explore and grow. As a lover of storytelling, she was performing in local plays, musicals and films in good ole Tucson, Arizona from a young age. To broaden her horizons and explore the wide variety of knowledge to be had, she graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and a variety of minors before moving to LA to attend a conservatory program at the Art of Acting Studio. She has also studied and performed at the Groundlings and UCB and absolutely loves everything comedy, sketch and improv. So much so that she founded her own sketch group, Unsupervised Sketch Comedy, and wrote, directed and starred in the digital action comedy series, JAMES BLONDES. Her work can also be seen on shows like BETTER CALL SAUL, ATYPICAL, SCREAM QUEENS, and THIS CLOSE as well as several features. She is also the host and producer of a sex positive podcast called Finding My Yum which is she incredibly passionate about. Geri is deeply committed to fostering a safe space for actors to grow and explore and is so thrilled to be on this journey with AMAW.
